Somali charity implementing livelihood support for early recovery in Adado district with partnership WFP.The Somali Charity Organization conducted community consultations with IDP populations, village committees, camp management committees, communities, and local authorities in Addado to identify the priority needs for community resilience. Through focus group discussions across ten villages in the Adado District, coupled with market assessments, the community expressed a strong interest in vocational training programs, as well as the rehabilitation of water catchment areas and the establishment of vegetable gardens. These initiatives aim to provide communities with free skills training conducted by professional teachers selected by SCO, while also enhancing water sustainability and promoting local food production for increased resilience. Project duration is 6 month, august-2024 To January-2025.
