Resilience and climate change management: the different communities we work with are exposed to range of shocks and stresses; from droughts and floods to long-term effects of climate change, to conflict and market disruptions and range of personalized family level shocks. To reduce susceptibility of communities to these shocks, SCO works with local communities and governments to strength early warning systems, develop disaster management and response mechanisms and take early action to minimize the impact of shocks.
